About

With over 20 years experience within the field of Fine Art and working on 100's of paintings to date, I have built up an extensive skill-set allowing me to gain a unique insight into the processes involved in creating and conserving a work of art.

Educational highlights include an MA in painting from the Royal College of Art, a degree in Art History from Utah State University, qualifications in sciences, working as an associate lecturer at the University of Northampton and recipient of the prestigious Stanley Smith Scholarship. During the past 8.5 years I have worked for a picture framers and restoration company gaining wide knowledge into framing processes and conservation techniques, while receiving extensive one-to-one training from ICON registered specialists and obtaining certification in advanced paper restoration. I am also a member of BAPCR & IIC.

During these years I have created strong relationships with other professionals in their field allowing me to gain advise and call on extra services in the unusual circumstance when a job is particularly challenging to make sure your artwork is always in the best possible hands.
